Persepolis Blog 1..

Maryjane, having to grow up during the Islamic Revolution. She's quite young, didn't understand why all the girls had to wear the veil at school. Her mother was against all of it, but while she was at one of the demonstrations a german journalist took a picture of her. They had her in the cover of newspapers, she was scared. She had to dye her hair and wear dark glasses so no one could recognize her when she'd go out in public. Maryjane wanted to be a prophet, she wanted to change a few things, things she didn't like. Like the fact that their maid had to eat in the kitchen alone, her dad having a cadillac, her grandmother's knee's aching too much. She wanted to make a change. Maryjane discussed with god every night before she went to sleep. She would even argue with him.

Six Word Memoir.

The greatest people alive; my parents.

This is about my mom and dad. I love them more than anything else in this world, they let me know right from wrong. I know when they say no to something is for the best for me. All they do is take care of me and my brother and sisters, giving us their time, their love and care. Even though at times they make me mad, they might be alittle overprotective, it's fine. I'm lucky to have them both in my life, I'm thankful and I couldn't be more happy then to have them both by my side. I seriously don't know what I'd do without my parents, they're the only ones that in the end they'll be there for you no matter what. I'll never take them for granted, I wouldn't want to loose either of them. We might not be the happiest family or the perfect one, but we do appreciate each other. Every single thing we do, they're there even if it's just to guide us through.

Twins..

I have a twin sister, her name is Katherin. We're identical twins yet we still have our differences, she was born five minutes before I was. Even though we look a lot alike, we're two totally different girls. A lot of things are different between us, she's a little louder than I am, and always have been a little thicker than me which doesn't make her fat but there's always has been a slight difference on our weight. We do different things, I like to go out and she prefers inviting her friends over home instead. Having a twin isn't so fun all the time. Everyone says they wish they had a twin or always asks us a whole bunch of questions. It's not fun being interrogated wherever you go, it's actually pretty annoying. We have to deal with it mostly every time we go out together. Getting confused, and compared is what I hate the most. Even our family gets us mixed up sometimes, although we're kind of used to it now.
